CLINTON COUNTY ZONING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CLINTON COUNTY, IOWA, BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FOR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE PERMIT The Clinton County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing in the large conference room at Clinton County Satellite Offices, 226 11th St. DeWitt, Iowa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024. The public may also join the meeting by phone dialing 1-312-626-6799 and entering the access code 527 420 2329. The public may also join through the internet by following this web address: http://zoom.us/join Enter the code 527 420 2329 and then password clinton23. Said hearing is to consider the following applications: 1.Special Exception Permit application 4477 of Clinton County Wind, LLC, requesting approval to construct a 197-foot Temporary meteorological MET Tower on property owned by Brent Buech as required by Section 3.6.1.D.18 and as permitted by Section 9.3.4 of the Clinton County Zoning Ordinance. The proposed tower is located in the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 1, Township 82 North, Range 5 East of the 5th P.M. in Clinton County, Iowa. Under certain conditions, the Board of Adjustment has the authority to grant Special Exception Use permits for the above uses in these Zoning Districts. At the time of the hearing you may appear, in person or by agent, either in support of or opposition to any items listed above.
