Any action to contest the validity of the trust must be brought in the Ditstrict Court of Iowa for Clinton County within the later to occur of four (4) months from the date of second publication of this notice or thirty (30) days from the date of mailing of this notice to all heirs of the decedent settlor and the spouse of the decedent settlor whose identities are reasonably ascertainable. Any suit not filed within this period shall be forever barred.
Notice is further given that any person possessing a claim against the trust must mail proof of the claim to the trustee at the address listed above via certified mail, return receipt requested, by the later to occur of four (4) months from the second publication of this notice or thirty (30) days from the date of mailing of this notice if required, or the claim shall be forever barred unless paid or otherwise satisfied.

PUBLIC NOTICE Antidegradation Alternatives Analysis for Equistar Chemicals, LP Notice Date: August 6, 2024 Notice is hereby given that Equistar Chemicals, LP has completed a draft antidegradation alternatives analysis for the discharge of treated wastewater to the Mississippi River. The Mississippi River is protected for Class A1 Primary Contact, Recreational Use, B (WW-1) warm water game fish populations, and is a designated Class HH water body containing no hazards to humans after consumption of fish or shellfish. The action being considered is the use of a polymerization inhibitor to minimize process fouling and improve the efficiency of a wastewater pretreatment system. One new chemical will be used to inhibit the formation of polymers within treatment equipment. Anyone wishing to comment on the proposed treatment alternative must do so in writing within 30 days of the date shown at the top of this notice. Comments may be submitted to Equistar Chemicals, LP, Environmental Department, by hand delivery or mail to Equistar Chemicals, Environmental Department, 3400 Anamosa Road, Clinton, IA 52732.
